Terms of Use

Effective July 2, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Daycast website and mobile apps (the “Service”), operated by Barış Peksak in the Republic of Türkiye (“Daycast”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Daycast produces daily audio episodes — researched, written, and narrated with the help of artificial intelligence — and delivers them for streaming and, on paid plans, download and custom generation. Episodes are produced automatically and are provided for general information and entertainment. They may contain errors or omissions despite our research and verification steps, and they are not professional advice — nothing in an episode is financial, investment, legal, medical, or other professional advice. Sources are cited on each episode so you can verify claims yourself; if you spot an error, please report it (see our Support page).

Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA and UK) to use the Service. You can delete your account at any time from the app or by emailing us.

Pricing

Daycast is currently free. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid features, and we never ask you for a payment method. If we introduce paid plans in the future we will update these Terms and show you the price and what it includes before you are charged.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others; probe, overload, or disrupt the Service; scrape or bulk-download content; resell or redistribute episodes; or request custom episodes that are unlawful, infringing, hateful, or that impersonate a real person. We may refuse or remove custom-episode requests that violate these Terms.

Content and intellectual property

Episodes, artwork, and the Daycast name and brand are owned by Daycast or its licensors. Your account grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable right to stream and download episodes for your own listening. Custom episodes you request are for your personal use and remain part of the Service. If you send us feedback or ideas, you grant us the right to use them without obligation to you.

Termination

You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, and we may discontinue the Service (or features of it) with reasonable notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, liability limits, and IP) survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-produced content can be wrong; you rely on it at your own judgment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daycast will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will revise the effective date above and provide a more prominent notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Republic of Türkiye — except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory consumer protections, which remain unaffected.
